Refund and cancellation policy

Billing review, cancellation, and refund terms

This policy explains how SternSleuth handles subscription cancellations, refund requests, and paid validation workflow review.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions and package access can be canceled for future renewal according to the terms shown during checkout or in the relevant agreement. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund previously delivered service periods.

Refund requests

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. We may approve a refund where duplicate payment, billing error, failed activation, or service delivery failure is confirmed. We may decline refund requests for completed validation work, consumed scan credits, delivered reports, analyst review, or managed program work already performed, unless required by applicable law.

Managed services and custom work

PTaaS, managed VDP, managed BBP, analyst review, private triage, and custom validation work may involve reserved operational capacity. Refund eligibility for these services depends on the agreed scope, work completed, and cancellation timing.

How to request billing review

To request cancellation help or a billing review, email founder@sternsleuth.dev with your workspace email, company name, payment date, and reason for the request.
